The Long Beach Central Area Association is VOLUNTEER tax-exempt non-profit in Long Beach, California. MusicUNTOLD is the program/event production arm of LBCAA. All of MusicUNTOLD events/program are FREE to the public except one(1) annual ticketed concert. On September 22, 2012, MusicUNTOLD partnered with KUSC Classical Radio to present the 150th Anniversary Emancipation Proclamation Concert featuring national and local classical and opera artists. The concert was broadcast on December 29, 2012 and streamed on-demand via www.KUSC.org through January 31, 2013.

Substitute Art Intructor Needed--Los Angeles

Exceptional Children's Foundation, a growing nonprofit social service agency serving clients with developmental disabilities throughout LA County, is seeking an experienced Art Instructor to work on an as-needed basis

The Art Instructor will work one-on-one with adult students with developmental disabilities, to develop their own unique artwork for sale. Will function in several media of artistic expression in addition to a concentration in at least one art specialty area. Responsibilities also include ensuring the safety and well-being of our students, and helping to maintain an overall enjoyable studio for all participants. Communications Internship at LA County Arts Commission/Ford Theatres

The Los Angeles County Arts Commission is in search of a Communications Intern to help with marketing campaigns for the Ford Theatres, a multi-disciplinary performing arts venue with programming in the 1200-seat Ford Amphitheatre, offering music, dance, family events & film from June through October. The candidate will also assist the L.A. County Arts Commission communications team with managing the press database and assisting with marketing efforts on the annual L.A. County Holiday Celebration, a three-hour free event that presents community and professional choirs, music ensembles and dance companies representing the diverse cultures and holiday traditions of LA County at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion at the Music Center, and broadcast live on KCET.
