The Academy of Media Arts Cologne (KHM), inaugurated in 1990, offers an
educational concept that cross-links and integrates the fields of art, film
and theory in one single degree course titled "Media and Fine Art" (since
summer term 2011; before named Audiovisual Media).
This is unique in Germany and contrasts with the traditional academic class
or master student principle of art academies and other art schools where
study courses are divided into classes or subjects.
The Academy of Media Arts Cologne seeks candidates for the position of
Director of the Academy beginning October 1, 2013.
NY based interdisciplinary multimedia art group looking for interns.
LoVid (Tali Hinkis and Kyle Lapidus) (www.lovid.org) are looking for new
interns to assist with several productions in 2013. Production sites include
New York City, Hudson Valley, and Connecticut. Projects are in fields
including: public art, mobile media, art-science, and interdisciplinary
performance/installation.
Intern will assist in many aspects of these projects depending on his/her
skills. Contributions may include:
Hardware electronics (soldering, design) Coding, web, and mobile development
Graphic design (Illustrator, Photoshop, Google SketchUp) Video editing
Fabrication (laser cutter, wood/metal work) Social media and community
outreach

LA Commons develops artistic and cultural projects that reveal the
unique stories of L.A.'s
Neighborhoods and engage visitors through cultural tours. LA Commons
and Building Healthy Communities South LA are hosting a unique project
to engage 6 lead artist/designers to collaborate with six core youth
arts teams (15-25 years old) to create murals and banners that will be
installed in a central location and along the Vermont corridor between
MLK and Century Boulevards. The art will share the unique stories of
residents and stakeholders' efforts to envision and build healthy
communities. The California Endowment is the funding partner for the
Box Office Manager—
4 theatre facility in the historic downtown core of Los Angeles seeks a Part-time Box Office Manager.
Duties include supervising a part-time staff of box office treasurers, while delegating and implementing ticket policies and procedures.
Candidate must have knowledge of reconciliation reports, performance statements and computerized ticketing systems.
Candidate must have strong attention to detail.
Customer service skills are very important; previous Box Office and supervisory experience necessary.
A qualified Candidate would need to be a self starter, organized, creative, collaborative, enthusiastic, a flexible team player as well as excellent written and oral communication skills.
Spanish fluency a plus.

4 Theatre facility, in the historic downtown core of Los Angeles seeks a full-time Development Director.
In collaboration with the company's Artistic Director, the General Manager, and our dynamic growing Board, the Director will work to provide the necessary resources for the continued advancement of the center.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising all fundraising activities and will directly participate in the identification, cultivation and solicitation of prospects and donors.
Development Director will also serve as liaison with the Board of Directors.

Visitor Services Associate
The Museum of Latin American Art (MOLAA) in downtown Long Beach seeks a Part-Time Visitor Services Associate to provide customer service to MOLAA's visitors. This position offers 12-15 hours per week, must be available Fridays and Saturdays.
Essential Functions
• Welcome visitors to the museum in a friendly and hospitable manner.
• Provide exceptional customer service and works with other museum staff to ensure a well coordinated and positive visitor experience.
• Answer phones and processes phone reservations in a timely and accurate manner.
• Answer general museum questions, book group visits, school tours and market museum services and programs to incoming callers and visitors.
