About Grand Performances:
In 2013 Grand Performances will be celebrating its 27th summer of presenting free performing arts that reflect the best of global
culture and inspire community among the diverse peoples of Los Angeles. The organization is nationally known for
providing Angelenos with an eclectic mix of high quality performing arts by
world-renowned artists across genres. With programming reflective of the many
cultural interests of people across the region, Grand Performances hosts
America's most diverse audience. All are welcome to enjoy this unique,
awe-inspiring venue nestled under the spectacular Downtown skyline.
We are currently looking for qualified volunteer artists to mentor in our
youth arts workshops after school and on weekends. Qualifications include
a background in photography, film/video, animation, multimedia and/or
visual arts.
If you are interested in helping our students cultivate their artistic
skills, and would like to gain some hands-on teaching experience please
contact us.
Our spring workshop series runs from Feb. 2nd-Apr. 27th with a culminating
exhibit at our gallery in May.
