The Los Angeles County Arts Commission is seeking a part or full-time Grants and Professional Development Program Associate through June 2012. This contract position will provide support for the Organizational Grant Program and Arts Internship Program, as well as a variety of professional development initiatives.

- Provides administrative support for the Organizational Grant Program (OGP) which provides $4.1 million in support to 350 Los Angeles County arts organizations\
- Assists with grant application review, including financial and artistic documentation

*Music Mobile Driver/Sound Technician*
The Pasadena Conservatory of Music is seeking a driver/sound technician to
work with the Conservatory’s Music Mobile assemblies. The qualified
candidate will be responsible for driving a van full of musical instruments
to school sites in the Pasadena area as well as working with a team to
unload, set up and present an assembly to third grade students. The
driver/sound technician will also set up and run the sound system during
assemblies. Must hold a valid California drivers license and pass a
background check. Hours are intermittent during the school year, occurring
primarily weekday mornings (Monday-Friday) from November to May. Schedule
Art Studio Coordinator
The Skirball Cultural Center seeks a part-time art studio coordinator to
develop and facilitate programs for families in the Skirball's
drop-in art studio. All programs presented in the art studio embody the
innovative sensibility and core values of the Skirball's interactive
destination Noah's Ark at the Skirball and the broader Cultural
Center, and serve its diverse and sizable corps of family visitors.
The Art Studio Coordinator reports to the Head of Family Programs.
Time frame:
The weekend art studio is open the last weekend of each month beginning
in January 2012, in addition to extended hours during winter, spring,
and summer breaks.

Associate Educator, Teacher Programs
The Skirball Cultural Center seeks an Associate Educator for its teacher
programs. The Associate Educator is a member of the Skirball's
Education department and reports to the Head of School and Teacher
Programs. S/he works closely with other school and teacher program staff
and a corps of school-tour docents.
This is a full-time, 40-hour/week position with benefits. The Associate
Educator schedule is generally Mondays through Fridays, but s/he must be
able to work on Saturdays when teacher professional development
workshops are occurring.
Responsibilities:
-Create, develop, and implement all museum- and performance-based
professional development programs for Pre-K through Grade 12 teachers.
