Development Associate
The Los Angeles County Arts Commission seeks a full-time development associate. This contract position will support the Arts for All arts education collaborative in achieving its development goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Conducts research on grant opportunities and makes recommendations on funders to approach to support Arts for All
* Coordinates and updates Arts for All's short term and long term funding plans
* Interfaces with team members and conducts site visits to gather pertinent information to produce high quality proposals for new and continuing grant opportunities, as well as interim and final grant reports
* Develops systems and protocols to manage and track grant awards
* Writes all correspondence regarding grant administration

The Little Tokyo Service Center Community Development Corporation (LTSC CDC) is a fast-paced nonprofit community development organization with a rapidly expanding portfolio of affordable housing and community development projects in Los Angeles, and an array of service programs including job development, childcare, youth programming and business development. The LTSC CDC Community Technology department offers technology training and access to underserved seniors, youth, and families in Los Angeles.

POSITION: Associate/Assistant Professor of Art, focused in photography. Full
time, tenure eligible position. Service and committee work expected.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: M.F.A. degree or the equivalent. Significant
photography-based background with commitment to conceptual inquiry and
technical expertise. An active professional creative practice, including a
record of exhibitions/presentations/projects beyond the local and regional
level.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The ideal candidate should have more than three years college-level teaching
experience, possess advanced wet darkroom capabilities, and be able to teach
digital imaging and printing and a combination of the following; alternative
photographic processes, large format photography, and/or studio lighting.

The Pablove Shutterbugs program seeks to teach kids living with cancer
to develop their creative voice through the art of photography. The
curricular program gives each student hands-on experience through
one-on-one weekly instruction in their home and three group classes
held in at Dangerbird Records in Silver Lake. Our Los Angeles fall
session starts September 17 and we're looking for photography mentors.
It's an 8-week commitment; classes are on Saturdays.

Venice Arts seeks a practicing animator and arts educator to teach and lead
its Digital
Animation program for 14-18 year old youth. Digital Animation is a
multi–disciplinary workshop
that integrates diverse forms of animation from fine art to cartoons, to
provide students with
foundation knowledge in animation with an emphasis on non-fiction
storytelling, while exploring
