Assist to Executive Producer

Interns in the Lead Production Program will have the opportunity to
work with an established artist exhibiting in LACE's Fall Cycle
of the Painted Over/Under Project. This position offers the
opportunity to gain experience in a gallery setting while directly
working with an international artist and gallery staff to execute the
artist's installation.
Responsibilities include:
. Collaborating with artist to successfully complete installation of an
international artist's work
. Communicating with artist each week on updates via phone, email,
skype, etc.
. Researching material and production costs, gathering necessary
materials
. Documentation of installation process and final project
Requirements include:
. Strong writing and communication skills.
Venice Arts' mission is to ignite youths’ imagination, mentor their
creativity, and expand their sense of possibility through high quality,
accessible media–based arts education programs. Venice Arts also serves as a
catalyst for people of all ages, living in low–income or underrepresented
communities, to create and share personal and community stories through
photography, film, and multi–media.
Venice Arts is always interested in receiving résumés from qualified,
professional teaching artists interested in working as Contract Faculty when
these positions come available. Selected faculty will be trained by Venice
Arts and given teaching assignments, on an as–needed basis, in our programs
for youth in Venice and at our Art Partners locations in Los Angeles, as
Venice Arts seeks a multi–disciplinary visual or performing artist to teach
and lead its Art Discovery program for 8-9 year old children. Art Discovery
is a multi–disciplinary workshop that integrates visual, performing, and
media arts learning to provide children with foundation knowledge in visual
arts and storytelling, and to prepare them for Venice Arts’ programs in
media-based art making (photography, film, multimedia) for older youth.

THE RECKONING by Kimba Henderson
developed through the Robey Theatre Company's
playwrights program
Award winning children's theatre company in Pasadena seeks a musical theatre/singing instructor for our fall session, which goes from September 13th through December 11th (no classes Thanksgiving week).
Classes are Saturday mornings and Friday afternoons from 4:30 pm to 6 pm.
Must play the piano and be able to accompany singers, as well as teach basic singing technique to children ages 6 and up. Experience staging shows needed as well.
We are seeking professionals with a relevant degree and/or equivalent experience. Must have teaching experience and truly enjoy working with children ages 6 and up.
